Mystic Coast

Turn Your Speakers On for the viewing of this video, otherwise there's really no point.

I debated about whether I should post this here. It's a video made from still photographs my Dad and I took on our recent trip to the coast. These photos are set to ancient Georgian chants (the country, not the state). The video was made using a very lame "muvee" program that doesn't allow much artistic control. To make matters even worse, a lot of photo quality is lost by using youtube as a means for others to view this online. We also tried uploading it into google video, but the quality of the images were just as bad, if not worse. If anyone knows a better way to do this, please let me know.

My spiritual Father used to tell me that it is better to be blind rather than deaf, because music is the language of the soul, and music can take you higher than anything visual. For that reason, I'm posting this video. The music alone is worth it.

Just say "yes" to Mystic Coast!

Wow! That was amazing! Thanks, Babe! Can't wait for the DVD to arrive! Everything was great, thanks to the BF, too for technical support :>)

It's wonderful.

YouTube screws up my stuff too. A friend has posted using his .mac account and the quality always remains true - so perhaps there's that for an alternative. But really, it was a great post to share. :)

Beautiful.

Can you give me the name of that CD where these chants are from?

our computer dosen't have enough memory to play videos but I could see the photos and hear the music in a sort of fractured way and it was still beautiful. Man, I want to BE there!

Thanks for reminding me of things like that.

I don't know, I think I would of missed the main point of the beautiful display of nature if I were blind...but that is beside the point. The point is...AWESOME, the pictures are beautiful and the music goes perfectly with the overwelming nature of NATURE.

hi, you don't know me, but I stumbled on your LJ searching for something else and came across your beautiful vid. Wow! Very moving. :) I also live in Chico and enjoy all the natural beauty that surrounds us in northern California. Cheers! :)
