I'm so excited because a piece of my art work was selected for "a juried exhibition of female artists intended to capture a view of contemporary art across disciplines and spanning generations."

Very cool. I love mixed media pieces. I don't know if it's the photo or the computer screen resolution, but that piece has a metalic look to it.

Yah, she thought they had because they didn't call her. She called them and they said they had called everybody that had been accepted and if she hadn't been called, she wasn't accepted.

She went down yesterday to pick up her denied piece. Turns out she had written out phone number down wrong. :P

Very very awesome - congratulations!! I like this piece a lot. It's probably because I'm crazy that I see all kinds of shapes and symbols and letters in it from the line parts. I also like the way it's completely non-symmetrical, yet has the feel of being completely balanced in spite of the tumultuousness.
