Jan. 10th, 2009 04:01 pmI've been looking through boxes of old photos and I'm furious with myself for the ridiculous crap I've taken photos of over the years. For example, I found a packet of photos from my parents 40th wedding anniversary celebration in 2005. But what are the majority of my pictures of? Tree bark! Fucking tree bark. I have two photos of my sisters and three dozen photos of tree bark. So here's a little tip for those of you who love their friends and family. Fuck the landscape pics, fuck the arty bullshit pics, fuck the found objects and urban decay pics. Take photos of your loved ones while they still have breath. Because someday they won't and photos of tree bark will not console you.

I saw the movie "Yes Man" last night. It was worth it. I think Jim Carrey is getting too old to play the romantic lead falling for girls in their 20's. It was still good. But seriously, he needs to step aside and let some other guys come up.
