Art Student Masturbates in Class for Final Project

So, a friend of mine is working on his bachelors of fine arts at Chico State. He told me about another student, who, for his final project in a sculpture class yesterday did the following: covered all the windows in the classroom with paper, cut small peepholes into the paper and told the entire class to go outside and look in through the windows to see his final project. The class left the room and assembled outside, looked through the windows and saw this student hanging upside down (by gravity boots), naked and MASTURBATING. This was his final project. What bearing it has on the art of sculpture, I have no idea.

There was just a lady in NYC who re-performed this in a succession of other performances. I forget her name offhand... Abramovic I think? Anyway, interesting nonetheless. Brings that whooooole 'what is art' debate back up, doesn't it. Haha.
