create_destinyI am so excited! I just got an Olympus Digital camera with 5 mega pixels for thirty dollars, yes $30.00. The original price was $499.00 but it went on clearance and I got even more $$ off for buying a display model. Sometimes, yes sometimes even the worst bosses can have their moments of extreme generosity and when that happens working at this place really pays off.
I'm currently house-sitting/disaster preventing for two teenage kiddos whose mom is out of town. Yesterday we took their dogs and went to upper Bidwell park where you can let dogs legally run around without a leash. Then we went to a McDonald's drive-thru and bought hamburgers and ice-cream for the dogs. I told the kids, "Don't tell your mom we fed the dogs hamburgers and ice-cream!" She'd probably be a little ticked.

Date: 2004-05-12 11:23 pm (UTC)I used to stop by McDonalds on the way home from work, years ago, when they had 29 cent burger nights and buy a dozen burgers for the dogs. They loved them things. You never saw 3 dogs paying such close attention to a person till you saw these 3 watching me unwrap the burgers.
