it's a gopher. my brothers and i caught one when i was eight so that woulda made them younger and even more stupid than me. we played with him for a day or two and then let him go. we were so imaginative we called him 'chopper'. i mean really...

Gophers are much smaller than beavers. Gophers live in holes in the ground and beavers live in condos they build in water.

Nice pics. The shot of Lew Gardner made me think of Ritzo and what he would look like had he lived to be in his seventies. I particulary like the shot: "Wood on Centerville Road".

"Wood on Centerville Road" is my favorite. Gives me a strong hint of childhood – I'm not sure why.

"Bidwell Park" pic: is the formation of a peace sign deliberate or coincidental? Either way, it's lovely.
