ME: "Those kids saw you scratching your balls just now."

BOYFRIEND: "Well, I hope they learned something, then."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

ME: "I just read somewhere that Albuquerque is number 37 on a list
of the most stressful places to live in the U.S.

BOYFRIEND: "What's so stressful about living in Albuquerque? Trying to
remember how to spell it?"

I have only been to Alburquerque once And I got lost for about an hour, it was a few years ago and we were on a road trip and the freeway conection was under construction so we had to go survace streets. I swear the road signs were put up by untrained monkeys, there would be six in one block then none for a mile or so. Also it was about 9 in the evening and we hadn't had dinner, nothing was open. so maybe its only stressful to drive through it.

I think I would have liked it much better if I hadn't been tired, lost and hungry. I liked new mexico in general, I will have to give it another chance, I think we will be doing another road trip through again in a few months.

So where is the number one most stressful place to live? I wouldn't want to move there not knowing....

And what is up with guys and ball scratching?! I mean, can't they like, turn around, or wait? The itch can't possibly be THAT bad, and if it is, maybe they need a doctor...or a shave...

You're just jealous cause you don't have any balls to scratch.

They do add a certain jauntiness to one's stride.

I bet it's the traffic...I can't figure out what else it could be...then again, 37 is pretty far down the list, you know? Although a quick search shows it's only #61 in population. So that seems high. I'm guessing it's the traffic because two interstates come together in town and it's a shitty connection.

Or, it may be they are jealous--that area is really pretty, but if you drive like 90 minutes up the road to Santa Fe, that is SUPER PRETTY--so maybe they are jealous.
